Day-wise itinerary
DAY 01
Arrive in Varanasi
Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Check-in is usually from mid-afternoon. Afternoon: Ghats at dawn. Sunrise boat ride along the ghats, walk through the old lanes to Kashi Vishwanath (outside view) and visit Sarnath in the afternoon. Watch the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat.
DAY 02
Varanasi to Bodhgaya
After breakfast, travel by road to Bodhgaya (about 5 hours). Check in and relax. Afternoon: Gaya. Stop at the Vishnupad Temple in Gaya on the way. Quiet evening at the Mahabodhi Temple lawns.
DAY 03
Bodhgaya to Allahabad
After breakfast, travel by road to Allahabad (about 5 hours). Check in and relax. Afternoon: Triveni Sangam. Boat to the Sangam of the Ganga, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati, then Anand Bhavan and Allahabad Fort (outside). Evening at leisure in Prayagraj.
DAY 04
Depart Allahabad
Breakfast, check-out and a timely transfer for your flight home.
