DAY 01
Arrive in Auckland
Our representative meets you on arrival and transfers you to your hotel. Evening idea: Viaduct Harbour.
DAY 02
Auckland
Sky Tower, Mission Bay and Waiheke-ferry views of the harbour.
DAY 03
Auckland to Rotorua
After breakfast, travel by road to Rotorua (about 4 hours). Check in and relax. Evening idea: Maori hangi.
DAY 04
Waitomo
Waitomo glowworm caves by boat.
DAY 05
Fly to Christchurch
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Christchurch (flight not included in this land package). On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Afternoon sightseeing: Botanic Gardens, the Cardboard Cathedral and a punt on the Avon. Evening idea: Riverside.
DAY 06
Christchurch to Mt Cook
After breakfast, travel by road to Mt Cook (about 5 hours). Check in and relax. Afternoon: Aoraki. Hooker Valley track to the glacier lake beneath Aoraki / Mount Cook. Evening idea: Dark-sky reserve.
DAY 07
Mt Cook to Queenstown
After breakfast, travel by road to Queenstown (about 4 hours). Check in and relax. Evening idea: Lakefront.
DAY 08
Queenstown
Skyline Gondola, the luge and an optional jet-boat ride.
DAY 09
Depart Queenstown
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
