Day-wise itinerary
DAY 01
Arrive in Delhi
On arrival you are met and driven to your hotel; the rest of the day is yours. Evening free to explore Connaught Place or the Dilli Haat crafts market.
DAY 02
Old and New Delhi
Cycle-rickshaw through Chandni Chowk to Jama Masjid, then Raj Ghat, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan (drive past) and Humayun's Tomb.
DAY 03
Qutub Minar and Lotus Temple
Morning at the Qutub Minar complex, the Lotus Temple and the Akshardham campus (closed Mondays).
DAY 04
Delhi to Agra
After breakfast, travel by road to Agra (about 4 hours). Check in and relax. Sunset view of the Taj from Mehtab Bagh across the Yamuna.
DAY 05
Taj Mahal at sunrise
See the Taj Mahal in the soft morning light, then Agra Fort and the inlay work of Itmad-ud-Daulah, the "Baby Taj".
DAY 06
Fatehpur Sikri
Explore Akbar's red-sandstone capital, the Buland Darwaza and the Salim Chishti tomb.
DAY 07
Agra to Jaipur
After breakfast, travel by road to Jaipur (about 5 hours). Check in and relax. Evening walk in the pink-walled bazaars of Johari and Bapu Bazaar.
DAY 08
Amber Fort and the Pink City
Amber Fort on the Aravalli ridge, a photo stop at Hawa Mahal, then City Palace and the Jantar Mantar observatory.
DAY 09
Nahargarh and local crafts
Nahargarh Fort views, a block-printing workshop at Sanganer and time for gems and textiles shopping.
DAY 10
Depart Jaipur
Check out and transfer to the airport or station in time for your departure.
